Teacher Spotlight: Design an Imp Competition

Today on our Teacher Spotlight we are sharing an exciting competition that Lincoln Waterside Shopping Centre are launching.

In partnership with @lincskidsuk, Lincoln Waterside Shopping Centre are launching a ‘Design an Imp’ competition which will be a part of the Lincoln IMP Trail Education Programme.

The Waterside IMP will form part of the Lincoln IMP Trail Education Programme which will see a trail of ‘Imps’ creatively designed by schools, to be displayed in venues across the City Centre throughout the Summer.

This competition held by the Lincoln Shopping Centre and @lincskidsuk is open to children of all ages, and is an exciting opportunity to make use of creative skills and will make great use of the time we all currently find ourselves having at home. In addition to designing the IMP, they also ask that you name the ‘IMP’.

If you’d like to enter this competition for a chance to create your very own IMP to stand in Lincoln this summer, all you need to do is follow the competition rules here on their Facebook.

The winning entry will have their design brought to life by Lincoln-based designer and illustrator, Mel Langton.

Let us know if you give it a go, we’d love to see your entries.

And thank you to @lincskidsuk and Lincoln Waterside Shopping Centre for launching such a great competition during these difficult times.
